Our partner school in the state ofMaryland, has an opening for a teletherapyOccupational Therapist (OT) for the entire schoolyear. We are seeking a diligent applicant who wants to work with kids of all levels and satisfies the requirements listed below:
Position Details:
- Full time: up to 40 hours perweek
- Current School Year
- Caseload: K - 12th grade students, additional details will be discussed during the interview process
Requirements:
- Must have an active Maryland OT License
- Must have an active OT License in state of residency, if applicable
- Must have Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Must be licensed through the Maryland Board
Daily Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' fine motor skills, sensory integration, visual-motor coordination, self-care abilities, and functional performance.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, setting goals and objectives that address students' specific needs.
- Provide individual and group occupational therapy sessions to students, implementing evidence-based interventions to improve their functional abilities.
